This page is for reciprocal links. You might be looking for the complete Vladimir Nabokov links page, but (while you're here) why not see what your fellow Nabokovians have been up to on the web? Here I link all the nice people who have linked their site to mine. (If you've done so and I have not linked you, please contact me.) For the sake of convenience I have divided them up into sections.
Nabokov-oriented sites, directories, & categories
nabokov-specific
Zembla
I'm listed in Zembla! This is a big thrill. As I've mentioned before, in my links page, Zembla is where you actually want to go for heavy-duty Nabokoviana. The Complete Review: Lolita (By Richard Corliss)
I'm in there. Yup. (And also here.) (Oh, and here.)The Life & Works of Vladimir Nabokov

No idea. Really.Pale Fire: The Book Beat
"The one-stop web guide." (Main page here.)Nabokov's Signs & Symbols: Expressive Typography and New Media
Superb graphic re-toolings of Nabokov's Signs & Symbols made by bright MIT people. Double kudos to professor Angelynn Grant for the idea and for liking Coltrane.Ardis Books: A VN Photo Exhibit
Nabokovilians will recognize the name immediately from Ada, and might be familiar with the imprint from its very highly regarded output of Russian-related literature and scholarship. Once again, it's a great thrill for me to see my site hustled in next to legitimate company (as VN would put it, as a thief in a calvary (calvacade?) of Christs -- albeit a very happy thief). Tons of good books await you there, as well as a wonderful Nabokov photo exhibit, which I've listed in my links.Nabokov: Genius Ignored
Waxwing is referenced in the author's on-line book, Genius Ignored, a treatise on fascinating thinkers and writers and Casablanca. There is a whole chapter devoted to Nabokov.Yahoo!
And yes, I'm listed here. Following this link will also lead to other Nabokov sites, so go and enjoy. The Barcelona Review's Nabokov Quiz
They very kindly linked me both in the quiz and in the answers to the quiz, as well as in their links page. The Barcelona Review is a terrific (and tri-lingual) journal of contemporary fiction. Please check them out.
Kiran's Nabokov Page
Kiran has collected an impressive collection of VN links, among which you'll find mine.

Ditto. Also very big and devoted to all the great American writers. Check it out.Russian Literature -- Internet Resources
An exhaustive but streamlined list of links to Russian literature and its best representatives. Great stuff. (They have now linked me in their reciprocal links page, which means they linked me for the Nabokov site, and I linked them for linking me, and now they have linked me for having linked them for having linked me... PostModernism! Self-Referentiality! (Or Referential Mania! (Is good!)))Russian & NIS Literature
This is a serious, heavy-duty scholarly page, so my being included in there is probably a mistake. But I'm glad -- a superb place if you're interested in Russian literature, which, of course, is something everybody should be interested in.BBS Directory (From the Sun Coast Free-Net)
If you look really hard for me you'll find me along with a couple-thousand sites. Hopefully one of these BBS people will find me with one of the really neat old Tandy laptops, the ones where all you got was like three lines of LCD text and its warhorse modem (that was the Tandy I got when I first started writing articles for The Orlando Sentinel, way back when).English 114: Vladimir Nabokov
Main page here.Russophilia! Language & Literature
A great site with a list of very comprehensive links for all matters Russian.

I thank her for introducing me to the Medieval Personality Test. Follow her links and unlock the gnome or knight in you.Liarbyrd's Incredibly True Opinions
This is the message I left in her guestbook, and I mean every word of it: "Hiya! Thanks for linking your page to my Nabokov appreciation site. I truly dig your incredibly true opinions. And plus I'd have never been exposed to Stick Figure Death Theatre had it not been for you." Darn, forgot to thank her for the Harrison Ford finger-pointing gallery as well.Steve Sailer
An intelligent conservative whose work has appeared in The National Review and American Spectator. I'm very much a heart-on-my-cufflinks liberal, but I appreciate the articulate and the thoughtful over sentiment, cant, or the overly easy -- even when I agree with the ideas behind all of the latter and disagree with Steve (main page here).Christopher Sykes Productions
A husband and wife production team who have made some fascinating documentaries for the BBC, among them My Most Difficult Book, on Nabokov and Lolita, with commentary by Martin Amis, A.S. Byatt, and Edmund White. Why can't we get stuff like that in the US? Other subjects include Wittgenstein, B-movie mogul Menahem Golan, Richard Feynman, Turing, and vampire bats.Snap!

An eclectic list of writers and books. Follow the Kathy Acker link -- she was a wonderful writer, full of menace and charm.Leni's Franz Kafka Page
