Clare Quilty From the band's web site:
"Favorite Book from which to take a band name: Lolita."

From a review by The Fairfax Journal:
"At first glance, Clare Quilty fits the post-grunge mold pretty neatly: a gender-inclusive (two males, two females) lineup, a pouty lead singer (Jenn Rhubright) with enough breathless sexual energy to decapitate a roomful of frat boys and a sound that's hard and loud. Seems pretty straightforward, right? But look too quickly and you'll miss the nuances.

" ...Clare Quilty just likes to think before it rocks. Too bad more bands don't feel the same way."
